Item Description

Atsushi Kikuchi (Japanese/American, 20th Century) Watercolor and gouache on paper. Circa 1950’s. Depicts a Rainy Day Scene of an urban park with pedestrians carrying umbrellas and rendered from a high vantage point as if seen from the window of an office building. Signed lower left with “A. Kikuchi” and chop mark. Framed in metal frame, matted under non-glare glass. Measures 16in height x 15in width framed and 10.25in x 9.25in image only. Condition: Painting in excellent vintage condition, metal frame has a couple of minor dings noticeable under scrutiny.
