….. This auction is for a large, antique, 1893 Oil Painting on stretched canvas is signed by the American landscape and animal artist, Charles T. Phelan (born 1840.) Executed on 25 by 31 stretched canvas, this original Oil Painting depicts a flock of sheep in an impressionist country landscape. In our black-light photographs you can see a couple of in-painted restorations in the trees, plus the 19th century canvas has been properly re-lined and re-stretched. The antique 37 by 42 ornate gilded gesso frame does have some small repairs as well as touch-ups to the surface, but the gilding is original.

UPS is also using a new billing structure which calculates the cost of shipping using Dimensional weight instead of the actual weight of the package. More information about this change can be found on UPS’s website and if you see an increase in the shipping calculator, this is why.

Shipping:

**We do not make money on shipping. We try our hardest to charge accurate shipping costs and are always sure to properly and professionally pack every item we ship!**

After you pay: We can only ship to the address listed on your invoice. If you have a special address that your item needs to be shipped to, it must be reflected on your invoice, or we cannot ship it there.

If this item is listed as Freight please click Contact the Seller and send us your zip code or country code. We will send you back an accurate shipping/packing quote before the end of the auction. Most freight items are still shipped via UPS Ground, however some are too large and will be shipped via SEKO Worldwide. Please be sure to message us for a quote so that you know how much this is going to cost before bidding.

US Buyers: The shipping calculator on the auction is an estimate and actual charges will be figured at the close of each auction. Our standard method of shipping is UPS ground however, if you prefer USPS this is also an option. Any item that sells for over $250 must be sent with signature required and if you choose USPS, it will be shipped via express mail.

International buyers:  Please be aware that you may incur a brokerage and/or customs fee upon delivery. Winning bidder is responsible for shipping & customs charges and we WILL NOT LIE on customs forms. This is illegal and is against policies. All items that sell for over $250 are sent via express mail. If you have questions regarding this, please feel free to contact us.
