ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Litvin Leonid Yegorovich Born on August 22, 1943, in the village of Oshchev, Volyn region. Graduated from the Lviv School of Applied Arts named after Trush (1968). Teachers in the specialty: V. Elizarov, V. Ovsiychuk. Painter. He created picturesque portraits, landscapes, still lifes, thematic paintings in a realistic style. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1990). Honored Artist of Ukraine (2008). At creative work. Participated in exhibitions: regional, republican (since 1968). Personal exhibitions – in Lutsk (1972, 1976, 1980, 1986, 2005, 2013), Lvov (1975, 1989). Main works: Portrait of the master of sports in sambo wrestling V. Shrankevich (1983), Volyn food still life (1982), Battle of Berestechko (2004), Cossack outpost (2006), Ancient Russia (1972 ), “Spring of the native city” (1979), “Volyn still life” (1981), “Girl in a carnival costume” (1982), “I. Blumina, Ancestors, Further North (1985), Mother and Child (1989), Spartak (1990), Saint (1992), Earthquake (1993), Lutsk Castle, Landscape with a Volcano (1994), Volyn Distance , Battle of Berestechko (2004), Autumn Plowing , Cossack Outpost , Hunting Season (2006), On the Maidan (2007), For the Land, for Freedom”, “Hetman Draws” (2008), “Reserved Oaks” (2010), “Haydamaki” (2011), “Lesya Bandura Player”, “Holiday” (2012), “The Great Kobzar”, “T. Shevchenko in exile” (2014); series – Unclean Force (1991). The author of monumental murals and mosaics for public buildings in Lutsk – Sport and Life (1985), Olympics is Peace (1991). Lived and worked in the city of Lutsk.
