Ron Schlenske ( Two Guns ) is an enrolled member of the Blackfeet Indian tribe of Montana. His art depicts the Blackfeet Native American culture in colorful and vibrant abstract paintings.

Generally, some of the Plains Indian tribes believe it takes a period of time after burial for the spirit of the deceased to journey to its next resting place. They believe death is not an end of life, rather the beginning of another journey for the spirit.
