About the artist: My artwork is based on the sea, astronomy, and coastal geology. An American/British artist my works are influenced by both British and midwestern views of landscape. I m a full-time professional artist working in Scarborough on the North Yorkshire coast.

My work has been shown in London and nationally. It has been selected for juried exhibitions including the Cork Street Open, Derwent Art Prize, Society of Marine Artists, Pastel Society, The National Maritime Museum, and Scarborough Art Gallery museum. Projects have included astronomy drawing talks and workshops with the Essex Wildlife Trust, geology drawing for the Primary Futures scheme, a drawing residency on the New Jersey coast, painting residency on the Newfoundland coast, and time at the National Maritime Museum using their historic Camera Obscura.
