WHISPERS FROM THE TREES was a creation from photos taken at a lake near my home here in SW Va.. It is a large lake with mountains that create rugged shorelines and there are lots of boats, most motor boats. But there are several sail boat clubs and marina s for them so it is possible to get some lovely views of these sail boats. I love the water (lakes, rivers, streams, ocean) so I am very happy to be out there painting or taking photos to paint from.

This piece is 16 tall and 12 wide and 1 1/2 deep and the sides are white. No need for a frame. It is beautiful if I say so myself!
